I’m running for the school board because I believe strong public schools are built through thoughtful leadership, responsible decision-making, and strong partnerships with families, educators, and the broader community.

With my passion for public education, I bring professional experience in leadership, budgeting, and working with individuals and families with diverse needs. My background has taught me the importance of listening, collaboration, and making decisions that are grounded in real-world impact.

I believe the role of a school board is not to manage day-to-day operations, but to provide clear governance, ask good questions, and ensure that decisions reflect both fiscal responsibility and student well-being. That means respecting the expertise of educators and administrators while holding ourselves accountable to the community we serve.

WUSD, like many districts, is navigating challenges such as declining enrollment, staffing pressures, and increasingly complex student needs. I’m committed to approaching these challenges with curiosity, transparency, and a focus on long-term sustainability.

My goal is to help build a district where students feel safe, supported, and challenged; educators feel valued and heard; and families feel confident in the direction of our public schools.
